I have a Facebook account.
I seldom visit it.
At first, when just created that account, I posted for a couple of times short paragraphs with something that had the intention of challenging to think. The comments I received were…well…disruptive, to say the least.
So I realized I was in the wrong place for that. Facebook seems to be the place to post pictures of babies; talk about the ugly dress of a rock star; share cooking recipes, and so on. Like if I tried to talk about Socrates during a football game.
I realized my mistake and so stopped posting.
The funny thing is, every time I went to check on my Facebook page I found so many strangers there talking about so many things daily life and laughing and joking, it seemed I got into the wrong house while they were having a party!!
“Sorry, wrong house!! Wait…this IS my house! What is all these people doing here?!!”
I thought a Facebook page would be a good place to post short paragraphs challenging to think.

For what I’ve been told, I can change settings and only allow to show limited postings there. Maybe I’ll try when I renew my computer, so I can have something that works at normal speed when tinkering with that account. Right now I have a small Netbook running Windows XP, so you can see I am a little behind in computer technologies. LOL
Maybe in the near future I’ll be able to change settings and have more control of what is going on in my “house”, and so be able to direct my account into a place to think and discover by reasoning, rather than a place to show off children; joke about super stars, and complain about politician’s speeches.
Until then, I will be just stopping by for a brief moment; have a drink; say Hi, and then leave.
